Parking Appeals Officer
Temp to Perm
Salary: £14.50 per hour £1.75 holiday pay (£16.25 per hour total)
Full-time - 36 hours per week
Remote (after two weeks in-office training)

A well-regarded local authority in South West London is looking for an experienced Parking Appeals Officer to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with the right technical knowledge to step into a long-term, flexible role with full remote working after initial training.
Following two weeks of structured, in-office onboarding, you'll transition to a fully remote setup, working within a supportive and knowledgeable parking team.
In this role, you'll be responsible for reviewing and responding to written parking appeals submitted by the public. You'll assess each case on its merits, apply relevant legislation, and provide clear, accurate, and well-written responses in line with statutory and council guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to informal and formal parking appeals clearly and professionally
- Accurately assess case histories using internal systems
- Apply legislation and council policy consistently
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and responsiveness of the appeals process
Requirements:
- Experience working within a local authority parking team
- Proficient in Imperial 3Sixty Notice Processing or Taranto (essential)
- Strong written communication skills with a keen eye for detail
- Able to manage appeal volumes independently and meet response deadlines
- Full right to work in the UK
This is a full-time role (36 hours per week), with flexibility around start and finish times during the working day. The position pays £14.50 per hour plus £1.75 holiday pay - £16.25 total.
